The 11th Annual Grandma’s Cook-Off sponsored by Genda Funeral Home will be held Saturday, September 22. Judging begins at 2 p.m. and winners will be awarded $300 in each of four categories — Main Dish, Side Dish, Dessert and Soup.
Rules are as follows: cook your Grandma’s favorite recipe and bring completed dish fully prepared with recipe. One entry per person and you must be present to win. Winners will be announced the day of the event and decision of the judges is final. There is no cost to enter.
Last year’s winners were Main Dish — Shelly Virtue, Side Dish — Joanne Pullen; Dessert — Billie Hinsley; and Soup — Joy Marlin.
