Grant W. M. Gangwer, 42, of Rossville, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 19, 1983, in Lafayette to Gary Gangwer and Linda Miller. He married Kimberly Lamb on April 20, 2013, and she survives.
Grant was a graduate of Rossville High School, Class of 2002. He worked at Subaru of Indiana Automotive. He was a member of Michigantown Christian Church and attended Rossville Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed off-roading with Kim, shooting, grilling, cooking, doing lawn work, and shopping for tools. Grant especially loved spending time with his family and his fur babies, Penny, Charlie and Lola.
Along with his wife of nearly 13 years, Grant is survived by his parents, Gary (Cathie) Gangwer and Linda Miller; children, Drew (Anya) Ross, Mitchell (Eidith) Ross, Cayden Ross, and Hayden (Makayla) Ross; sister, Amanda (Craig) Wilson; mother-in-law, Jane Lamb; sister-in-law, Eugenia (Roger Taylor) Lamb and Tracy (Brett) Mann; grandparents, Gene and Beverly Gangwer; grandchildren, Jace, Evelyn, Grey, Freya, and Athena; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Melvin and Mary Lois Miller; father-in-law, Raymond Lamb; and cousin, Aaron Deaton.
Visitation will be held, Tuesday, March 24, 2026, from 4 to 7pm at Day & Genda Funeral Home ~ Bodine Chapel in Rossville. Funeral service will be held, Wednesday, March 25, at 10am at the funeral home. Pastors Angie Hufford and Sharon Walker will officiate.
