Frankfort Mayor Chris McBarnes has announced that the Grants for Grads program is now live. He released the following letter about the program.

Below are TWO links which will direct you to applications for Frankfort’s Grants for Grads Program! This idea was birthed out of a previous Clinton County leadership summit I hosted at Arborwood in partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis. This program offers $5,000 to graduates who choose to move back to Frankfort and purchase a home. Specifically for downpayment and closing costs associated with the home purchase. This grant is forgiven as long as the graduate lives in the home for five years. We also offer a rental assistance program through Grants for Grads up to $2,500 and then the renter can apply for another $2,500 towards the purchase of a home later down the road. One application link below is for the homebuyer program and the other is for rental assistance, both for graduates. Within these applications you will also find a more detailed description of the program.
