Guy “Howard” Snodgrass, 82, of Frankfort, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at his home. He was born in Clinton County on July 13, 1938 to Guy and Mable (Moore) Snodgrass. He married Henrietta Schoolcraft on September 14, 1963; she survives.
Howard was a 1956 graduate of Frankfort High School. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Army. After serving his country, he began working for the railroad. He worked for Nickle Plate and Norfolk and Western. After 40 years with the railroad, he retired from Norfolk and Southern. Howard was a member of the United Transportation Union, American Legion, and Elks. His interests included hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife, Howard is survived by his children, Todd Snodgrass (wife, Tamara) of Elkhart and Shawna Snodgrass of Irvine, CA; brother, Dwight Snodgrass (wife, Netta) of Beech Grove; sister, Treva Bowers of Fairmont; and granddaughter, Hannah Snodgrass.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Faye, Virginia, and Marjorie; and brothers, Byron and David.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.
