Frankfort High School swimmer Tyler Harness took the Sagamore Conference championship Saturday in Crawfordsville. Harness won the event in a time of 2:07.04. He also took second in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:08.45.
Overall, the girls finished fifth and the boys placed sixth.

FMS Eighth Grade Finishes Regular Season With Win
The Frankfort Middle School eighth grade basketball team recovered from a slow start to defeat Crawfordsville 47-37 Thursday night.
Doug Wood led a scrappy defensive attack in the second half to regain control of the game. Kye Kirby and Jayce Strode led in scoring. The Dogs are undefeated in conference play and 16-1 on the season.
Frankfort seventh grade lost 21-20 to Crawfordsville to close out their season. Jordan Goodnight led all scorers with 12 points. Issac Adams finished with 10 rebounds and had his strongest defensive night of the year.
The Sagamore Conference Tournament starts Thursday at Northridge Middle School where Frankfort’s 8th grade will play Danville at 6 p.m.
Clinton Prairie Girls Down Carroll
Rebekah Lloyd and Tynlie Neal led a balanced scoring attack with 10 points each as Clinton Prairie defeated Carroll 54-34 Friday night in Flora.
Emma McKinney had nine points for CP, Katie Blacker added seven and Kylie Maish had six.
Lloyd had a team-high six rebounds, while Blacker had a team-high five assists. McKinney added four assists.
In the JV matchup, Prairie limited Carroll to just two points in the first half, including none in the first quarter, en route to a 42-12 triumph.
Kaitlyn Beck and Claire Ecenbarger each had a team-high 13 points for the Gophers. Tess Ecenbarger added five points, five assists, four steals and four rebounds. Claire Ecenbarger also had four steals and four rebounds.
Rossville Girls Fall to Tri-Central
Tri-Central outscored Rossville 13-5 in the fourth quarter on its way to a 41-34 victory Friday night.
Michelle Rodkey led Rossville with 12 points and nine rebounds. Madison Miller added 10 points, five rebounds and four assists.
