The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Heat Advisory for portions of central, east central, north central and west central Indiana, including Clinton County, from 1-9 p.m. Tuesday.
Heat Index values up to 107 expected. Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses to occur. Extent of the dangerous heat remains somewhat uncertain due to potential cloud cover from storms.
Those affected besides Clinton include Boone, Carroll, Decatur, Delaware, Fountain, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Henry, Howard, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Montgomery, Randolph, Rush, Shelby, Tippecanoe, Tipton and Warren counties.
