Peak heat indices are expected to be at or above 105 degrees each afternoon with overnight temperatures remaining in the mid 70s for portions of central, east central, north central, south central, southeast, southwest, and west central Indiana. The heat Advisory will remain in effect until 8 PM EDT Tuesday.
Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
