High-End Salon Celebrates Grand Reopening In Frankfort

Frankfort’s premier high-end salon has received a few upgrades and debuted the new renovations to the community on Tuesday evening with a mission to “make everyone feel beatuiful.”

Fiddle & Steel celebrates grand reopening.

Fiddle & Steel Co., located at 400 S. Hoke Ave. in Frankfort, recently unveiled its newly-renovated space to the public after only a month of operations in the new area. Fiddle & Steel has been serving the community of Frankfort for nearly two years, but the team moved back into their renovated space last month to reinvent their journey as a high-end salon option in Frankfort. Christine Rudd, Fiddle & Steel Owner, commented that the salon prides itself on its high-end status where the stylists utilize all-natural products to ensure the best experience for their customers.

“Everything has a good reason for someone’s hair,” Rudd said. “We like to say that high-end feels a little bit more like an experience when you’re coming in. Instead of just going and getting your hair done, you kind of walk in and feel like you’re having an experience the entire time. You get a head massage, and you get all the great stuff. You leave here feeling like a million bucks.”

Rudd expressed that the grand reopening and ribbon cutting was a means to open the doors to new customers seeking new experiences. Rudd commented that regardless of the request, the team will succeed in bringing the customer’s vision to life and ensure they leave the Fiddle & Steel doors feeling beautiful.

“We are just excited to be able to meet new faces and give them the hair of their dreams and be able to fulfill exactly what they’re looking for whether that’s a new cut, a new color, a new style or whatever that might be,” Rudd said. “We want to make everybody feel beautiful.”

The salon sports a small, close-knit team of stylists, a spray tan artist and a one-person front desk welcoming committee who make it their priority to create a personable experience for every person that walks through the doors. Rudd expressed that the team members pride themselves on their ability to customize the experience for every individual to ensure that every person’s needs are met and exceeded, whether it includes highlights, haircuts, spray tans or more.

“It kind of all depends on what they’re looking for,” Rudd said. “It kind of is more of a customization. That’s what we pride ourselves on is that we don’t just have one solid thing that we say we’re going to do. We can customize it to the person and what they’re wanting and the color they’re wanting to achieve.”

such as new seating, state-of-the-art washing stations and records adorning the walls. Rudd expressed that the decor hosts a special meaning for her and her husband due to their connection with music, which is one place where the team members draw their inspiration for the hair and body transformations at the salon.

“Fiddle & Steel Co. kind of comes from the fact that I’m a musician, and so is my husband,” Rudd said. “We’re both musicians, and we both love music, so I wanted it to kind of reflect that as well. We always get compliments that our playlist in here is always really good. A lot of my inspiration comes through music, so I wanted to be able to incorporate that into our decorations as well.”

During the grand reopening celebration, a community member was selected to win a $50 gift certificate and a few fragrance products for entering online prior to the event. Those in attendance were able to participate in a raffle for a chance to win 30% off their next scheduled appointment at Fiddle & Steel.
