Hilario Chavez, 71, de Turkey, Tx falleció rodeado de su familia el día 15 de Mayo del 2019 a las 7:31AM. Nacido en Michoacán, Mexico de padres Benito y Julia (Cruz) Chavez. Su matrimonio de 50 años fue con su esposa Maria Raquel Valdés, que aún vive.
Hilario vivió en Texas por 20 años. Le gustaba mucho el campo y disfrutar del aire libre. Siempre ayudaba a su familia y amigos con proyectos de casa. Le gustaba mantenerse ocupado y fue un gran ejemplo 
para las personas que lo rodeaban.

La visita será de 5-8 p.m. Martes, 21 de mayo de 2019 en Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Un rosario comenzará el martes por la tarde a las 6 p.m. en la funeraria. La misa fúnebre será a las 11 am del miércoles 22 de mayo de 2019 en la iglesia católica de Santa María. El padre Chris Miller oficiando. El entierro será en Green Lawn Cemetery. Hilario Chavez, 71, of Turkey, TX passed away at 7:31AM May 15, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born in Michoacán, Mexico to Benito and Julia (Cruz) Chavez. His marriage of 50 years was to Maria Raquel Valdes and she survives.
Mr. Chavez has lived in Texas for the past 20 years. He was a retired farmer and enjoyed the outdoors. Mr. Chavez was always there to help relatives and friends with household projects. He loved to stay busy, and could always find something to do.
Family: Wife: Maria R. Chavez, Father: Benito Chavez, 6 Daughters: Dulce Chavez, Guadalupe Chavez, Julia Chavez, Erika Chavez, Hilda Chavez,Susana Chavez, 1 Son: Jose Chavez, 2 Brothers, 1 Sister, and 15 Grandchildren also survive. He is preceded in death by his mother: Julia Chavez.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. A rosary will begin Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Father Chris Miller officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery.
