According to Frankfort Street Superintendent Jason Forsythe, the sinkhole on Hoke Avenue has been repaired and is now open. Motorists are urged to use caution when entering and exiting the area to Wampler’s Disposal Services.
The sinkhole occurred Tuesday and forced the closure of the intersection at Washington Avenue and Hoke Avenue for a time on Wednesday for repairs.
