Homestead Resources will offer a free workshop, “Rent with Confidence,” on Wednesday, July 29, at the Learning Network of Clinton County, located at 1111 South Jackson Street in Frankfort.
The workshop will be offered at two times, 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., and is open to the public. The class is designed to help renters feel more informed and prepared when navigating the rental process, whether they are renting for the first time or have questions about their rights and responsibilities as a tenant.
Topics covered during the workshop will include:
- Understanding a lease
- Tenant rights and responsibilities
- Communication with landlords
- Ways to protect housing stability
Participants will have the opportunity to learn valuable information to help them better understand their rental agreements and build positive relationships with landlords.
Those attending will also have a chance to win a $25 gift card.
