Basketball season is here for the Clinton County Indiana Special Olympics. Athletes, families, and supporters are invited to the first practice and call-outs on Sunday, November 16, at Frankfort Middle School from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Participants should enter through the gym entrance.
This season is extra special as the athletes will be showing off their new uniforms, made possible thanks to generous support from local businesses and individual donors. A big thank you goes to Intac LLC, Campbell Electric, Mulberry Telecommunications, Eric McCullough, Shaun Gephart, Jeff and Nancy Ward, Teresa Guffy, Sam Payne, Chris Ward, and Mark Stoops for helping provide these flashy new uniforms.
The Special Olympics program is excited to welcome athletes back to the court and looks forward to a season full of teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun. Families and community members are encouraged to come out and support the athletes.
