Hoosier Schools Among ‘Best Colleges in America’

Inside INdiana Business is reporting nearly two dozen Hoosier institutions are included in MONEYmagazine’s rankings of the Best Colleges in America. More than 700 schools are on the list, which was determined by a number of factors in three categories, including quality of education, affordability and outcomes.

The University of Notre Dame is the highest ranking Indiana school on the list at number 30. Purdue University in West Lafayette is ranked at number 40, followed by Indiana University Bloomington at 94 and DePauw University at 99. DePauw is also the only Hoosier school to be included in the publication’s list of the 50 Best Small Colleges.

Four of the top five schools on the list come from California. Princeton University in New Jersey is ranked number one, followed by the University of California-San Diego, University of California-Irvine, UCLA, and Stanford University.
