Tomorrow on Hoosierland TV, Clinton Prairie takes on Carroll in a key conference matchup.
The Gophers enter at 5-2, winners of two straight, including a 55-6 victory over Taylor last week.
Carroll is also 5-2 with back-to-back wins in which they outscored their opponents 76-6.
Clinton Prairie’s senior quarterback Gaige Kuzmicz has 14 total touchdowns, seven passing and seven rushing.
Jon Carey leads a potent rushing attack for Carroll, pacing the team in rushing yards with 657 yards and six touchdowns.
The Cougars have had the Gophers’ number recently, winning the last five matchups.
Sheridan and Eastern lead the Hoosier Heartland with 5-0 and 4-0 conference records, respectively. Carroll and Clinton Prairie are each 4-1 in conference play.
Carroll plays Sheridan next week, the final week of the regular season, while Clinton Prairie plays Eastern, meaning all four teams are still alive for a Conference Championship.
