Tonight on Hoosierland TV, Clinton Prairie softball takes on Clinton Central.
The Gophers enter at 7-4 while the Bulldogs sit at 3-7.
After starting the season 3-3, the Bulldogs have dropped four in a row, including a 9-0 loss to Delphi in their last outing. Clinton Central is still in search of its first win in conference play for the 2026 campaign.
Clinton Prairie has won three of its last four and sits at 2-1 in the Hoosier Heartland.
Sadie Weliver continues to impress in the circle for the Gophers. The senior has a 2.79 earned run average and 41 strikeouts on the season.
Sophomore Keera Grizzle has paced the Gopher attack offensively. Grizzle is hitting .512 and leading the team in hits (21) and RBIs (16).
For Clinton Central, Nuriah Harvey leads the way with a 3.15 ERA and 24 strikeouts.
Senior Emily Long ranks first on the team with 12 hits and 10 RBIs, batting .444 on the season.
