Hot Dog Golf Achieves Sixth In Sagamore Conference Showdown

The Frankfort Hot Dogs golf team drove in a sixth-place finish in the Sagamore Conference match against seven other teams as they missed out on a top-five position by only five strokes.

The Frankfort Hot Dogs achieved a sixth-place finish against Tri-West, North Montgomery, Southmont, Lebanon, Danville, Crawfordsville and Western Boone with a score of 368. The Hot Dogs followed Tri-West with 308, North Montgomery with 338, Southmont with 356, Lebanon with 359 and Danville with 363. The Hot Dogs were followed by Crawfordsville with 372 and Western Boone with 383.

The Hot Dogs took to the Rocky Ridge Golf Club course on Saturday for the showdown with the seven teams as they saw Dylan Garrison and Charlie Beardsley achieving scores of 89, earning both players Second Team All-Conference honors for their outstanding play.

The Hot Dogs saw additonal solid performances from Luke Beardsley with 94 points, Harrison Kiger with 96 points and Jackson Ray with 103 points.

The Hot Dogs will travel to Green Acres on Tuesday, May 21 to take on the Northwestern Tigers, who have been a feat for teams to overcome this season.
