Frankfort High School announced that the Varsity baseball game tonight, April 24 will be relocated to North Montgomery tonight after a
difficult search for umpires came up short.
The Varsity baseball game scheduled for tonight will now be a doubleheader at North Montgomery beginning at 5:30 p.m. The school stated that the Thursday night and Friday night games this week may be cancelled or postponed as a result of the lack of umpires and the forecasted weather.
“The search for umpires is tougher this year than most,” the school released. “We have been unable to secure officials for Thursday night, and Friday night does not look good with the weather forecast.”
Baseball fans may purchase tickets for the game tonight at the gate at North Montgomery with a credit card, and visitors are reminded that North Montgomery does not accept cash at their athletic events.
