Humane Society of Clinton County Begins Long-Awaited Roof Replacement Project

The Humane Society of Clinton County is preparing for a major facility improvement as work begins this week on a much-needed roof replacement project at its shelter.

Shelter officials announced the project on social media, describing the new roof as an important investment that will help protect the facility and improve conditions for the animals in its care for years to come.

Despite the construction, the Humane Society plans to continue serving the community and caring for its animals throughout the project. However, staff members noted that some phases of construction could result in temporary disruptions or occasional closures.

The organization is asking residents, volunteers, adopters, and supporters for patience and understanding while work is underway.

“We are incredibly grateful for the support of our community and can’t wait to see this long-awaited project completed,” the shelter said in its announcement.

The roof replacement represents a significant upgrade for the facility, helping ensure a safe and secure environment for animals awaiting adoption and for the staff and volunteers who care for them.

Shelter officials plan to provide updates on the project’s progress and will notify the public of any changes to operating hours or services during construction. Community members are encouraged to follow the Humane Society’s social media pages for the latest information.
