The Humane Society of Clinton County, Indiana, is encouraging community members to consider adoption during National Adopt a Shelter Pet Month.
The shelter has several loving animals waiting for their forever homes, including dogs and cats. Throughout the month, community members are encouraged to visit the shelter during open hours, meet the available animals and consider adding a shelter pet to their family.
The Humane Society says every adoption gives a deserving animal a second chance at a happy life and a permanent home.
