The Humane Society of Clinton County has announced that its sponsored adoption fee special has been extended through June 20, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. Under the program, adoption fees for all dogs and cats currently housed at the shelter are fully sponsored, excluding kittens. Prospective adopters must still complete the shelter’s standard application and approval process.
The announcement was made with the help of Pearl, one of the shelter’s adoptable residents, who became the face of the campaign. Shelter officials joked that Pearl was thrilled to learn the sponsorship special had been extended, giving more animals a chance to find their forever homes.
While adoption fees are covered, the Humane Society emphasized that all normal adoption procedures remain in place to ensure pets are matched with suitable families.
The shelter is encouraging community members to share the announcement widely to help increase awareness and find loving homes for the animals in its care.
