Humane Society Of Clinton County Officially Reaches Maximum Capacity For Dogs, Needs Foster Families

The Humane Society of Clinton County has announced today, April 22, that the organization has reached its maximum capacity for dogs and puppies, which indicates that adoption and fostering efforts are mandatory for the organization to continue helping animals in need within the county.

“It devastates us to make this post, but we must,” the shelter released. “We are officially at max capacity with dogs and need help as soon as possible. It is depressing how many strays we have had this past month that have not been claimed by their families.”

Interested foster or adoption families may contact the Humane Society of Clinton County to get involved by emailing [email protected] or calling the shelter at 765-670-7924 and selecting prompt 2.

Interested parties may foster a dog on the road to adoption or just act as a foster family until a forever home can be found. During the fostering period, the Humane Society will provide all medical needs that the foster puppy may have at that time.
