The Humane Society of Clinton County recently received a donation from a local restaurant from a “round up” fundraiser totaling just over $1,500.
The Clinton County Arby’s promoted a “round up” fundraiser last month as a means of collecting funds to donate to the Humane Society of Clinton County. Throughout the month, the restaurant was able to collect $1,559 for a donation to the shelter for supplies and medical care for the animals.
Humane Society Executive Director Cheyenne Taylor released a statement thanking the restaurant alongside thanking the community members who visited the restaurant and agreed to “round up” their bill to donate to the cause.
“They could have chosen anyone they wanted, but they chose to help out homeless pets,” Taylor wrote. “You have no idea how much this means to all of us.”
The Clinton County Arby’s presented the check to the Humane Society on Thursday, April 18.
