The Humane Society of Clinton County released its 2024 November stats for the community to see how the organization has aided the animals of the county.
The organization stated that 52 animals were taken in during the month with 10 cats, made up of nine strays and one abandoned, and 42 dogs, made up of eight surrenders and 34 strays. For cats, zero were claimed. For dogs, 23 were claimed.
The organization stated that it received 45 calls for Animal Control for the month.
For outcomes, the organization saw 22 adoptions, 11 cats and 11 dogs, and 25 foster-to-adopt successes, 15 cats and 10 dogs. The organization stated that unfortunately two kittens and one puppy, who was removed from a hoarding case, passed away in November, and one euthanasia occurred.
