The clinic will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Clinton County Fairgrounds Show Arena. Attendees should enter the fairgrounds from Jackson Street and follow the drive to the Show Arena.
Microchips will be available in limited quantities and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Pet owners are asked to follow several important guidelines:
- Dogs must have proof of a current rabies vaccination.
- All dogs must remain on a leash at all times.
- Visitors should remain in their vehicles until a staff member provides instructions.
- Animals may be turned away due to temperament or health concerns.
Microchipping is one of the most effective ways to reunite lost pets with their owners, providing permanent identification that can be scanned by veterinarians and animal shelters.
The Humane Society encourages dog owners throughout Clinton County to take advantage of this free service and help keep their pets safe.
