IHSAA Holds Boys State Championship Contests

The Indiana High School Athletic Association held its state championships Saturday in all four classes at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The results are as follows:

Class A State Championship 
Final | Barr-Reeve 64, Kouts 48
■ Barr-Reeve takes second state championship (2015)
■ Vikings’ Jamison Miller named Ray Craft Mental Attitude Award recipient
■ Final Records: Barr-Reeve (29-2), Kouts (29-3)

Class 2A State Championship
Final | Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian 55, Parke Heritage 40
■ Blackhawk claims second state title in three years, first in Class 2A
■ Braves’ Caleb Furst named Trester Mental Attitude Award recipient
■ Final Records: Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian (28-3), Parke Heritage (27-4)

Class 3A State Championship
Final | Silver Creek 50, Leo 49  
■ Silver Creek tops Leo for second 3A crown in three years
■ Dragons’ Kooper Jacobi receives Trester Mental Attitude Award

Class 4A State Championship 
Final | Carmel 51, Lawrence North 46 OT
■ Carmel wins second 4A title in three seasons
■ Greyhounds’ Connor Gioia earns Trester Mental Attitude Award
