Glover’s Ice Cream – the history of Frankfort’s Glover’s Ice Cream. The program will be held in the Library’s Skanta Theatre beginning at 6 p.m. The Frankfort Public Library is excited to welcome back previous owners and founding family members, Steve and Kathy Glover, along with several of the current owners — collectively known as the Glover’s Five. The story begins with Foster Glover, who would sell ice cream sandwiches on the passenger train coming into Frankfort, and continues today with five guys who feel honored to carry on this sweet legacy.
Hoosier Storytellers is an ongoing series, where host Michael Clossin interviews guests of local interest as they discuss their unique experiences. The presentations usually last an hour, followed by questions from the audience.
