Ina Jean Cook, 82, Frankfort, passed away at her home, Friday, March 31, 2023. She was born February 17, 1941, to Clarence and Anna (Snow) Denham. She married Harold Max Mathews in July of 1959. He preceded her in death on November 19, 2010.
She graduated from Frankfort High School in 1959. She worked several office jobs through her years, her latest being with Indiana Brass. After her retirement, she worked as a CNA at Wesley Manor. Ina was known for her fiery, pistol personality. She enjoyed time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Ina is survived children Greg (Ruth) Mathews and Kim (Phillip) Ferrel; brother; Fred Denham; 5 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
Preceded by parents, husband, siblings Rex Denham, Alice Sharp, Elva Reeder, and Aleesa Allen.
Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, April 8, 2023, from 11am until the time of the memorial service at 12pm at Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Pastor Paul Whitaker will officiate.
