It is possible the bridge over Sugar Creek in Mechanicsburg on St. Road 39 connecting Frankfort and Lebanon may be open as early as October 25th but everything will have to fall into place to make that happen.
General Contractor Force has made excellent progress on the new bridge and by any measure they are ahead of schedule. Some of the finishing work will be in the hands of subcontractors and weather conditions are always a key variable as well.
A fairly safe estimate to finish the bridge and open traffic is in the neighborhood of November 6th but a certain opening date is simply not possible at this time.
