The savory scent of sizzling bacon and the sound of live music will soon fill the streets of downtown Delphi as the Indiana Bacon Festival returns for a one-day celebration of food, fun, and community.
Set in the heart of the city’s historic Downtown Square and Central Plaza, the festival transforms Delphi into a lively gathering place where visitors from across the Midwest come together for what organizers proudly call “Bacon, Bands & Brew.” With more than 15 food vendors serving up inventive bacon-infused dishes, the event promises everything from sweet treats to hearty, savory creations that showcase just how versatile bacon can be.
Beyond the food, the festival delivers a full slate of entertainment. Live performances will energize the crowd throughout the day, including tribute acts honoring legendary bands like Queen and ABBA. Regional musicians will also take the stage, adding a local flavor to the high-energy lineup.
For adults, the Brew Garden offers a relaxed setting to sample Indiana craft beers and wines, while families can explore a dedicated Kids Zone packed with games and activities. Competitive spirits will find their place as well, with crowd-favorite events like the Bacon Eating Contest and the Backyard BBQ Cook-Off drawing cheers and participation.
The festival’s setting adds to its charm. Located along the scenic Wabash River, Delphi provides a welcoming small-town backdrop filled with historic architecture, local shops, and nearby attractions like Canal Park. Visitors often take time to explore the area before or after the festivities, making the event a full-day or even weekend experience.
