Indiana COVID Cases On Rise Since June 20, Daily Deaths Steady Since June 28

A careful look at Indiana State COVID numbers will show rising daily positive case numbers since June 20.

As these positive cases increase, daily COVID Indiana deaths since June 28 statewide, average about 8 per day and do not show any sustainable daily increase or decrease since June 28. (See graph below)

Clinton County positive COVID cases are rising rapidly since July 11 with a rolling average of 10 to 15 new Clinton County cases every day. One day in early August in Clinton County, 28 new positive cases were observed.  The percentage of tests in Clinton County which result in positive results now exceed 10% on some days with a high of about 25% on one day last week. This metric is increasing rapidly.
