Indiana State Police Cruiser in Running for Nation’s Best Looking Patrol Vehicle

The Indiana State Police is asking Hoosiers to help move its patrol vehicle to the top of the standings in the 2026 Best Looking Cruiser Contest.

According to the Indiana State Police Lafayette District, Indiana is currently in fourth place in the nationwide competition, which features patrol vehicles from law enforcement agencies across the country.

Supporters can cast a vote for Indiana’s cruiser online, and votes may be submitted once each day throughout the contest. State police are encouraging residents to share the voting link with family and friends to help boost Indiana’s standing.

The annual contest highlights law enforcement agencies from across the United States and gives the public an opportunity to vote for their favorite patrol vehicle. Winning agencies often receive national recognition, with the top cruiser featured in the following year’s calendar.
