High school students in Indiana have an incredible opportunity to explore careers in law enforcement, criminal justice, and public safety this summer through the Indiana Youth Cadet Law Enforcement Academy. Hosted by the American Legion Department of Indiana, the academy will be held June 21–27, 2026, at Anderson University.
Open to all boys and girls in grades 9 through 12, this immersive week-long program allows students to train alongside Indiana State Police Troopers and gain hands-on experience with real-world law enforcement skills in a safe, supportive environment.
