Individual Arrested in Connection With Multiple Thefts

An arrest has been made in reference to the multiple thefts from vehicles that have taken place over the last week in the Rossville area.  A search warrant was executed on the individual’s home.  Most of the property taken during the thefts has been recovered, to include a gun.

Arrested was 18-year-old Michael D. Hurley of Rossville. No specific charges were released.  This is an ongoing investigation in connection with the Rossville Police Department.

Sheriff Rich Kelly commends the exemplary work of Deputy Nick Light, Lieutenant Matt Myers, Detective Sergeant Matt Feterick and Detective Sergeant Dan Roudebush.  Sheriff Kelly stated, “This is an example of the outstanding service our agency provides to this community and our great ability to work together with other departments!  Well done!!!”

Formal charges will be pending from the Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office.  All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
