The Indiana Department of Transportation announced a road closure on State Road 263 through 
West Lebanon.
Beginning on Tuesday, April 9, State Road 263 will experience a road closure at the intersection of State Road 28 down to 8th Street on the south end of town.
During the closure, crews will be resurfacing the road, installing pipes, installing sidewalks and forming curbs, and the construction is expected to last until August.
Community members are encouraged to seek alternate routes around the closure, and the official detour around the construction is from State Road 163, east on State Road 28 and ending at State Road 263 and State Road 28.
