The Indiana Department of Transportation announced a temporary closure of the Interstate 65 southbound entrance ramp at State Road 38 or exit 168 near Dayton.
Beginning on or after Wednesday, April 10, crews will close the ramp to restore pavement. During this work, there will also be a one-day closure of the right lane of I-65 southbound to set a barrier wall near the ramp.
The closure will be in effect 24 hours a day and is expected to last until early June.
The official detour around the closure is S.R. 38 to Veterans Memorial Parkway to U.S. 52 to S.R. 28.
The Indiana Department of Transportation encourages all drivers to use caution around this and all other work zones, as well as to avoid distracted driving and speeding.
