The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced that a traffic signal will be placed at the intersection of Hoke Avenue and Wabash Street in Frankfort to help regulate traffic more efficiently.
The project is slated to begin April 22 and will consist of the installation of traffic signals at U.S. 421, or Wabash Street, and Hoke Avenue. The contractor is reportedly scheduled to install construction signs for the project on April 1.
Partial lane restrictions are expected to occur during the project, but full lane or road closures are not expected to occur.
Temporary sidewalks may be installed and temporary sidewalk closures may occur throughout the duration of the project.
