The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a project to improve bridge decks will begin this week. Motorists will be controlled at the bridges with flagging operations while construction work is underway.
This project was awarded to Ram Construction Services of Michigan Inc. for $1 million. This project will place a thin deck overlay on the following bridges.
S.R. 26 – less than one mile west of U.S.421 over Campbell’s Run
S.R. 32 – over two and one half miles east of S.R. 75 over Wolf Creek
S.R. 32 – just over two miles west of U.S. 421 over Mounts Run
S.R. 32 – just west of S.R. 75 over Higgin’s Ditch
S.R. 29 – four miles south of S.R. 26 over Kilmore Creek
U.S. 52 – nearly three miles east of S.R. 28 over Little Potato Creek
S.R. 26 – two and one half miles west of U.S. 421 over Cripe Run
S.R. 47 – just over one and one half miles south of S.R. 75 over Wolf Creek
S.R. 47 – less than one mile south of I-65 over Spring Creek
S.R. 47 – two and one half miles north of S.R. 39 over Brown’s Wonder Creek
S.R. 75 – just over two miles north of I-74 over Big Raccoon Creek
S.R. 75 – just over four miles south of S.R. 26 over Boyle’s Ditch
Boone C.R. 300 N. – less than one mile north of U.S. 52 over I-65
Work is expected to be completed at all locations by November 15. INDOT reminds motorists to follow the posted work zone speed limit, use caution and consider worker safety when traveling through a construction zone.
