INDOT Setting Up Speed Cameras in Construction Zones Starting Saturday

INDOT is taking steps to stop an increase in recent years in crashes and higher speed in interstate construction zones.

Beginning Saturday, July 1, INDOT says there will be cameras in four different construction zones in the state and anyone going over 11 miles-an-hour above the posted speed limit will get a ticket in the mail.

The first offense will be a warning, the second will be a $75 ticket and any more will be $150 tickets.
