Information Sketchy on Plane Crash Near Glenndale Airport in Kokomo

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office released what information they Thursday regarding a plane crash near the Glenndale Airport in Kokomo.

At approximately 5:02 p.m., the Howard County 911 Dispatch Center received a call of an airplane crash near the Glenndale Airport (3460 S. 400 W, Kokomo, IN 46902​).  The pilot was able to get out of the plane himself and was treated and released on scene with only minor injuries.

Preliminary investigation indicates that the single prop plane landed in a field and flipped on it’s top where it came to a rest without any further damage to the field or catching fire. The FAA has been called and will arrive tomorrow (Friday) to conduct their investigation.
