At approximately 2 p.m. Sunday, Deputies with the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a personal injury crash on US 52 S near CR 880 W involving a passenger vehicle and a farm implement.

Preliminary investigations show the farm tractor was traveling southbound on US 52 and was rear ended by the passenger vehicle. The passenger vehicle sustained heavy damage as it overturned and left the roadway. The driver of the passenger vehicle admitted to driving while fatigued.

The operator of the farm tractor was transported to a local hospital. The driver and passenger of the passenger vehicle were also transported to area hospitals.

Clinton County Sheriff Rich Kelly wants to remind our community to be mindful of your surrounding while operating on our highways. Always watch for farm implements and slow moving vehicles and NEVER drive while fatigued.
