Inside the Huddle Set to Air on Saturday Morning at 9 A.M.

The third installment of our new Saturday morning sports talk show called “Inside the Huddle”  is all set for 9-10 a.m. Saturday. The show is sponsored by State Farm Insurance Agents Tony Theofanis and Susan Kaspar.

The focus of this week’s show, hosted by Ken Hartman, is football, both high school and college. After recapping Week One of the high school football season to start the show, we will be joined by Carroll High School football coach Kevin Sayler at 9:15 a.m. to talk about their opener at Tri-County and talk about the upcoming Bacon Bowl matchup with Delphi on Friday, August 30, which will also be our Game of the Week on WILO-AM and FM.

At 9:30 a.m., we will have Delphi head football coach Josh Strasser on to talk about their opener against Benton Central and also preview the Bacon Bowl next week in Flora.

At 9:45 a.m., we switch gears to college football as we will joined by Purdue play-by-play announcer Tim Newton to discuss the upcoming season for the Boilermakers as they get ready for their season opener on Friday, August 30, against Nevada in Reno.

We will also have a discussion with Frankfort High School boys’ and girls’ cross country coach Tim Galati about the season coming up for his squad.

As of right now, we will have Frankfort head volleyball coach Kia Rushton and a couple of her players on to talk about the upcoming season for the Hot Dogs and have things have started off.

Also, this show will have an open line format, so your phone calls would be welcomed and appreciated at 659-3338 or 1-800-447-4463.

So, be sure to tune in each and every Saturday morning for “Inside the Huddle Sponsored by State Farm Insurance Agents Tony Theofanis and Susan Kaspar” on WILO-AM and FM. The show will also be streamed worldwide at the blue bouncing bars at clintoncountydailynews.com.
