Ira Greeno

Ira Greeno, 83, of Lebanon and formerly of Frankfort, passed away November 2, 2020 at Signature Healthcare at Parkwood in Lebanon, Ind.  He was born on June 3, 1937 in Forest to Ernest and Irene (Thomas) Greeno.  He married Vicki Burnette on February 19, 1994 in Frankfort and she survives.

Ira was a lifelong Frankfort resident and attended Frankfort schools.  He served in the United States Army and the Army National Guard.  He worked for Harmeson Manufacturing and as janitor for Exide Battery in Frankfort.  He retired in 2002.  He attended New Life in Christ Church / Heart of Fire Church in Frankfort.  Ira enjoyed model train sets, listening to music, and loved fishing.

Surviving along with his wife: Vicki are his Children: Michael (Dana) Greeno of Kokomo, Debbie (Jay) Gorman of Frankfort, and David Greeno; Sisters: Julia Castle and Sharon Roe both of Frankfort; and 3 Grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Lloyd Greeno, and sister: Charlotte Schiery.

A Memorial Service will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Heart of Fire Church, Frankfort.  Dean Burnette will officiate.  Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center and Clinton County Crematory, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort are honored to assist the Greeno family.  Memorial donations may be made in Ira’s honor to Heart of Fire Church, 3000 East Wabash Street, Frankfort, IN  46041.  Please visit archerweston.com where you may share a condolence with the family.
