IU Health Arnett Ranked Among Region’s Best Hospitals

Indiana University Health Arnett Hospital was named among the state’s top ten hospitals in U.S. News & World Report 2019-20 rankings released Tuesday.

The Lafayette hospital was ranked among “Best Hospitals” and “Best Hospitals for Common Care,” according to a release.

IU Health Arnett Hospital tied with IU Health Bloomington as the No. 8 ranked regional hospitals in Indiana. Indiana University Health Medical Center (Methodist, University and Saxony) is the No. 1 ranked healthcare system in Indiana, according to the U.S. News rankings.

“What a great honor to continue to be ranked in the top ten in regional hospital rankings,” Dan Neufelder, president of IU Health Arnett, said. “Our patients and community can continue to be assured that we are here to provide highly skilled, destination health care.”

IU Health Arnett Hospital was also recognized as a high performing hospital in three adult procedures/conditions included in the U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals for Common Care ratings. These included colon cancer surgery, heart failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

For its Best Hospitals rankings, U.S. News evaluates nearly 5,000 hospitals nationwide. More than 160 Indiana hospitals were evaluated.
