Jack Bond Sworn In As Newest Member Of The Frankfort Police Department

At the Board of Works meeting Monday evening the Board Approved the appointment of Jack Bond to the position of Police Officer to replace Captain Bill Hackard. The hiring is effective February 28,2023. Captain Hackard had nearly 36 years on the force retired Monday.

Stated Chief Of Police, Scott Shoemaker, “Jack Bond is a Veteran of the United States Army and graduated Frankfort High School in 2019. Prior to joining FPD, he was a corrections officer for the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office and has big shoes to fill in replacing Captain Hackard”.

In other Business, Resolution of donations from the Fire Department for mattresses to be donated to Center Township Homeless Shelter and EMS was approved by the board as well as “Strides for Stacy” 5K run on May 13th.
