Jack R. Kelly, 74 of Frankfort, passed away, at his daughters home in Frankfort, on Thursday, November 19, 2020. He was born June 3, 1946, in Bell County, Middlesboro, Kentucky, to Claude S. and Haley (Mink) Kelly. He married Erma J. Likens on February 12, 1966 in Frankfort.
Jack attended Clinton Central High School. After high school, he enlisted in the Army. He retired from Chrysler in Kokomo after 15 years of service and had previously worked for Continental Steel in Kokomo. Jack enjoyed fishing, flea markets, gardening, and mowing but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by his sons, Jack (Mary) Kelly of Frankfort, Michael (Angie) Kelly of Logansport; daughters, Mary (Ken) Bernardin of Fort Wayne, Barbara (Michael) Brittain of Frankfort; daughter-in-law, Tanya M. Kelly of Lebanon; brother, Cliff (Arlene) Kelly of Michigantown; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by a son, James C. Kelly, brother, Lester (Mary) Kelly; sister, Lois (Estes) Bowers and Ruth (Wendell) Smith.
There are no services planned. Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort is entrusted with the arrangements.
