Jacob Andrew Hodgen, 42, of Frankfort, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026. He was born November 15, 1983 to Bill and Joan (Reeder) Hodgen. He married Rosie Smith in 2003 and they were married for 16 years. In September of 2025, he married Andrea Marie Irelan.

Jacob was a 2003 graduate of Clinton Central Junior-Senior High School. He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he proudly served his country from July 2003 to April 2008. Jacob was employed by Archer Daniel Midland (ADM). He enjoyed leather making, loved being outdoors, camping, hiking and fishing.
Jacob is survived by his wife Andrea Marie, parents, Bill & Joan Hodgen, 10 children, Alex (Amber) Smith, Harlee Irelan, Abby (Kaleb) Smith, Andrew (Ciarra) Hodgen, Hannah (Kyle) Irelan, Hidey (Landyn) Irelan, Aidan Hodgen, Ashton Hodgen, Camron Johnson and Angel Johnson, grandchildren, Lynnex, Rhodes and Amaya, and five very special fur babies, Karev, Lola. Nix, Dobby and Rocky. He is also survived by five brothers, Brice Gant, Brad Hodgen, Daniel (Leslie) Hodgen, Jon Hodgen and Thomas (Heather) Hodgen, two sisters, Cassie (Rashon) Amerson and Amanda Hodgen. To Audrey, Reid, Elisa, Natalie, Mason, Phenix, Arden, Jorie and Reese, he was known as the “fun” uncle or uncle blueberry. To Tessa, Brinleigh, Roman Zane, Kat, Kai, Adeline, Raya, Roman, Aleyna, Rayne, Grayson, Rayann and Julianna, he was known as Jakey Pooh. He is also survived by special friends, Frankie Crews, Jordan Timmons and Nick Rothenberger.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Dan & Elva Reeder and paternal grandparents. Albert & Virginia Hodgen.
Andrea Marie knew she was loved. And she was supported. An whatever she brought home, pet, reptile or child, Jacob raised it, loved it, jokingly told her no more and then repeated the process. He worked hard to support the children they had, the children they claimed and the children they decided were theirs.
