James Dewayne “Jim” Flaugher, 50, of Frankfort, Ind., died April 24, 2021 at his home. He was born November 1, 1970 in Frankfort, Ind. to Charles Lee Flaugher and Rhonda Jane (Martin) Hall.
James was a graduate of Frankfort High School. He worked in construction building grain bins. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and just being outdoors. He also enjoyed music and loved to cook on the grill.
He is survived by his Father: Charles (Kathy) Flaugher of Indianapolis, 2 Daughters: Morgan Flaugher of Bloomington, Ashley (David) Chaney of Camden, Brother: Kevin (Samantha) Flaugher of Lebanon, 5 Sisters: Tammi (Tracey Lee) Flack of Rossville, Melanie (David) Perrine of Lebanon, Cindy (Brian) Walters of rural Frankfort, Kerri (Brad) Dexter of Lafayette and Tia Timmons of Lafayette. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, and uncles, as well as extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his mother and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Funeral Services:
Visitation will be 1-4 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Burial will take place in Green Lawn Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St. Frankfort, IN 46041 to help defer funeral expenses.
