James “Marvin” Wells, 87, of Frankfort, passed on August 10, 2021 at Wesley Manor. He was born November 3, 1933 in Latham, Missouri to Emil Newton & Virginia Emma (Powell) Wells. He married Willa Jean “Billie” Schuster on June 13, 1952 and she preceded him in death on January 15, 2018.
Marvin was a 1951 graduate of California High School. He had worked in sales and drove a bus for Frankfort High School for 9 years. He was a
member of the Eagle Harvest Church. Marvin was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Missouri and loved to travel.
He is survived by a Daughter: Debra Jean (Joseph Keith) Regan of Hendersonville, TN, Son: James Michael “Mike” (Tina) Wells of rural Kirklin, 10 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and 1 sister.
Funeral Services:
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday August 16, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at the funeral home.
