Janet Lloyd was selected as the new Clinton County Auditor during a Republican caucus held Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Frankfort Police Department.
The caucus was conducted to fill the vacancy in the Auditor’s Office. Eligible precinct committee members gathered to vote and select an individual to serve in the position.
Prior to the caucus, interested candidates were required to submit a CEB-5 Form and a letter of intent for consideration. The caucus process allowed party precinct committee members to choose a replacement to complete the term.
As Clinton County Auditor, Lloyd will oversee the county’s financial records, claims processing, payroll functions, and other responsibilities associated with the office. The Auditor’s Office serves a critical role in the administration of county government and financial operations.
Lloyd assumes the position following the caucus vote and will begin carrying out the duties of the office in accordance with state and county requirements.
