Jeffery James “Wally” Wallace

Jeffery James “Wally” Wallace, 59, of Clarks Hill, passed away at IU Arnett Hospital on Friday, January 14, 2022.  He was born May 2, 1962, in Terre Haute, to Lewis Edward and Brenda Faye (Knuckles) Wallace I.

Wally attended McCutcheon High School in Lafayette. He had been a professional drywaller for Craft Drywall of Colfax for many years and was associated with the International Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trades. Wally enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Wally is survived a son, Eugene Stockton of Lafayette; brothers, Tony (Dianna) Wallace of Monticello and Donald Lewis Wallace of Clarks Hill; grandchildren, Madison, Colt, and Brantley Stockton of Delphi; nephews, Joshua Allen Marshall of Lafayette and Anthony Ray Wallace Jr. of Frankfort; nieces, Michelle R. Carter of Clarks Hill, Shannon Michelle Harting of Frankfort, and Haley Nicole Wallace of Monticello; and a special friend and co-worker Terry Leffew.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Edward Lewis Wallace.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 23, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home. Memorial donations would be appreciated to help with funeral expenses. You may donate in person or through the link on Wally’s obituary page at www.gendafuneralhome.com.
